ICE skaters wanting to unleash their inner Torvill and Dean can now access a new rink in Llanelli.

Play King, in Dafen Industrial Park, has installed a new 96 square metre rink this week.

The indoor rink, which is a permanent fixture, can hold up to 48 skaters at once making it ideal for parties and celebrations.

The feature will add to the venue which already boasts go-karting, bowling, laser tag, ball pools, activity areas and much more — attracting up to 2,000 children per week.

Owner David Edwards welcomed the new addition to Play King.

He said: "This is an excellent attraction for all ages to enjoy.

''No matter what the weather, we have created an indoor winter wonderland. And there is no limit on time either so you pay once and spend as long as you want in the venue.

"We've already had lots of enquiries and more than 1,100 likes for this on Facebook.

''People are excited for it to open."

The price, which is soon to be added to the website, will include skate hire too.

And those looking for even more festive fun can visit Santa in his grotto at the attraction this December.

Aside from the fun and games Play King also includes a 660-seat restaurant, which can be booked for parties. And those who visit the venue on a school day can get discounted entry.
