TWO people killed in a crash on the A40 near Haverfordwest at the weekend have been named as Ian and Shirley Richards.

They ran the West Valley Honey Farm in Wiston near Haverfordwest.

Visitors to Pembrokeshire Farmer’s Market would be familiar with the pair selling their goods there.

The Pembrokeshire Beekeepers' Association have paid tribute.

In a statement they said Mr Richards was "always willing to provide practical help and advice to local beekeepers".

"Shirley was invariably at Ian's side assisting with honey processing and producing preserves which they sold alongside their honey at Pembrokeshire Farmers' Market where they were familiar faces.

"They will be sorely missed."

Witnesses to the collision, which involved one other vehicle, at 3.50pm on Saturday, should contact Dyfed-Powys Police on 101.
