Ed Sheeran is coming to Wales on his next tour

After announcing his return to music last week, Ed Sheeran confirms he will come to Wales on his next tour.

This morning the singer/songwriter confirmed in an interview with Nation Radio that he will be returning to Wales as part of his tour which he plans of starting in a few months' time and finishing at the end of 2018.

Whilst he hasn't confirmed any specific dates, he confirmed it will be in Cardiff.

"I am definitely playing in Cardiff but not this year. I think its next year"

Ed Sheeran is yet to perform in Cardiff as he says there is nothing between a small venue and a venue such as the Principality Stadium.

"It's quite difficult to play in Wales." he told presenter Carl Hughes.

The last time Ed Sheeran came to Wales he played at Swansea's Sin City back in 2011.

Since then, the singer/songwriter has gained worldwide success, even winning 'Song of the Year' at the Grammy Awards for the song 'Thinking Out Loud' which he co-wrote with Wales-based singer-songwriter, Amy Wadge.
