“Does anyone know the speed limits on Heol y Mynydd in Gorseinon. There are no speed signs at the location between asda and the TOYODA factory, and the only indication of the speed limit (and not a lot of drivers know this) is the spacing of the street lights which indicates that it is 30MPH. Police, Local Authority and M.P. have been advised. The local authority states that the new ASDA roundabout would slow vehicles down, but I say to them that a reliant robin could exceed 30MPH by the time it gets to the junction of the nearby housing estate. A recent survey was conducted by PCSO'S up by TOYODA and the majority of the vehicles were doing over the permitted speed limit, and their findings were going to be passed to the highways agency. At the end of Howards way is a lane which links to the footpath running from high street down towards Grovesend which is a beautiful walk. there are a number of children and families which have to cross this road to gain access to this walk with vehicles traveling in excess of 40 and 50 MPH. It has been suggested that a speed sign coming out of both ASDA and the TOYODA factory to indicate to people that the road they are entering is 30MPH. DOES IT TAKE SOMEONE TO LOSE THEIR LIFE BEFORE SOMETHING GETS DONE.”

Doesn't matter what the speed limit is(it is 30mph) as drivers in this town are illiterate when it comes to traffic signs. Stay away from Belgrave Road when the College lets their "STUDENTS" loose at the end of the day.
