12th century water-mill

“This is especially great for younger children as it has many farm animals and plenty of different play areas. We liked the fact that it was based around a working 12th century water-mill and had quite a good old fashioned feel about it. It was a bit like a rural museum. ”

    Family fun

A really fun place to spend a family day out. The visitor attraction and rural life museum is based around a working 12th century water-mill. There are lovely craft shops and activities and an old fashioned games arcade, sandpit area, adventure playground. There is a lot of history to learn about in a fun way and the staff are fantastic.

Fantastic centre which has loads to do from crafts to a tea room, a museum mill, a playground and a little zoo! Kids absolutely love it here and it's a nice retreat for the parents too. The people who work at the centre are really lovely and very knowledgeable about the inner workings of the mill and the centre. A great local welcoming place, perfect for any weather.

Nice place to spend a rainy day with the family. Loads to do there - food , tea rooms, a museum mill, playgrounds (indoors and outdoors), a little zoo, and loads more. Kids will love it and parents can relax and enjoy as well. Prices are not too bad and staff are friendly.

    fun for the family

Brilliant place to visit whether it is sun or rain. Very family orientated with animals, workshops and organised events to entertain the children. Loads of history to learn in a practical way, the staff are all very involved and friendly. Good value for a day out. Loads of car parking space and its near to the pathway to Three Cliffs which is worth a look.

Why not try?
