It appears the Harlem Shake craze knows no bounds, as a clip of a washing machine strutting its stuff has gone viral on YouTube.
The clip, in which a brick is thrown into a washing machine prompting it to topple over and madly gyrate on the ground, has been viewed more than two million times since being uploaded to the video-sharing site yesterday:
Scores of viewers have commented on the video. One wrote "thisis truely the best one! :D" while another said "I was so sick of harlem shake videos, but I JUST CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF THIS ONE!!!!!!"
The Harlem Shake has become an internet sensation in recent days. Clips of students, families, firefighters and Playboy Playmates busting their moves have received millions of hits in a matter of days.
The craze, dubbed the Gangnam Style of 2013, sees one dancer gently bopping away to Baauer's ‘Harlem Shake’ before the bassline drops and the scene cuts to everyone in the room frantically throwing themselves around.
No specific moves are required but many wear fancy dress and others don hats and helmets - with comedic results.
