NEXT time you’re idling along in traffic on your way to work, you might wish you were in a Typhoon fighter jet.
Or at least you will do after you’ve watched this amazing footage from inside the cockpit of the RAF aircraft.
There is no congestion here as the pilot takes us on a trip through Welsh mountains and then on to the Lake District.
Just 250ft from the ground at times the aircraft, one of which was involved in the Wales National Air Show in Swansea, almost seems to skim the valley floor.
The pilot gives a running commentary as he begins high in the atmosphere, where you can see the curvature of the Earth, before diving down and following the valley topography.
He explains the G-forces he experiences as he banks hard left and right.
It may be the closest any of us will ever get to flying a fighter jet.
