Bomb disposal team remove suspected explosive device found in Sketty Avenue house

An unexploded WW2 bomb is thought to have been discovered in Sketty Avenue tonight.

A BOMB disposal team has removed an object found in the roof space of a house under renovation today.

People living nearby in Sketty Avenue, Swansea, were told to stay indoors while the discovery was investigated.

It is believed the object was taken away by the team. It is not known what it was, or if it was potentially dangerous.

Sketty Avenue is off Eversley Road in Sketty, north of the A4118 Sketty Road.
