Engineering work is causing disruption for railway passengers in South Wales today.

Changes to the timetable have come into force throughout Saturday, with First Great Western services between Swansea and London Paddington, from Cardiff Central to Portsmouth Harbour, and from Cardiff Central to Taunton running earlier than scheduled.

The operator's routes from Paddington to Swansea, from Portsmouth to Cardiff Central, and from Taunton to Cardiff Central will run later than stated in the timetable.

Arriva Trains Wales services between Cardiff Central and Manchester / Holyhead are now earlier than scheduled, as are the operator's routes between Cardiff Central and Newport / Cwmbran.

CrossCountry services to and from Cardiff Central are not affected by the engineering work, which is between Cardiff and Newport.

Passengers are advised to check the rearranged timetable before travelling.
