SWANSEA City captain Ashley Williams took time out from a busy pre-season to help inspire the next generation of players.

Williams attended the finale of the Game On Swansea League which was staged at the Play Football Centre in Llangyfelach. The league which has been running since January, with partners at Swansea City Community Trust, allows players to play for free and have opportunities to volunteer with the programme.

Game On training and development officer Chris Foot said: "It went well.

"The team from Pontarddulais won and were presented with a trophy by Swansea City ambassador Lee Trundle.
