JOSH Sheehan's wonder goal helped Swansea City see off rivals Cardiff to book a place in the FAW Youth Cup final.

Swansea won the competition for four years in a row under former Liberty youth boss Tony Pennock.

Now new youth-team coach Cameron Toshack is just one step away from helping the club retain the trophy after a 3-1 triumph over Cardiff in Port Talbot on Wednesday night.

But midfielder Sheehan restored Swansea's lead when he spotted the goalkeeper off his line and fired the ball home from 45 yards.

Swansea sealed victory ten minutes from time when substitute Kyle Copp scored from the penalty spot after he was brought down.
