SWANSEA City target Tom Ince has been linked with a move to big-spending French outfit Monaco.

Reports today claimed Ince and his father Paul, his under-fire manager at Blackpool, held talks with representatives of the Ligue 1 club in London this afternoon.

Monaco could get Ince for a minimal fee because he would be moving abroad and his contract expires in the summer.

Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins has admitted he has held discussions with Blackpool counterpart Karl Oyston over a possible January move for the highly rated England Under-21 winger.

bankjack if we do not get some replacements in now to help us with our injuries the out look does not look very bright and wot i mean about the board of directors is that they see wot is happening on the field like we do and as suporters of the club we can only give our comments. and i suppose it is up to HJ to deside who comes in and out , other clubs are geting players in but why are we not it is allright saying there is money there well spend it before it is to late.5.5 million for a player who is out on loan does not make sense.

Everyone else seems to be very pro-active in the current Market place evn though it s a hard market to find good players. However Hull, in my opinion, have just picked up two good strikers in Jelavic and Long. To say the least we are slow and maybe even going backwards even though it was previously mentioned that we would strengthen in January. It is obvious that with the current list of injuries we are struggling badly especially with the added games involving the Europa and FA Cup and we have NOT got the strength in depth needed. So come on show some resolve and fid us some quality additions please otherwise I fear we could easily be dragged into a relegation struggle whichnobody wants. We have around 17 Cup FInals left to cement our position in this League so the Tea also nees the support of the Fans too. Finally as far as Ince is concerned the guy and his Father obviously feel he is far better than he is or has proven and if he doesn't feel that we are the right Club for him we don't want him.

There's nothing to suggest he was going to be top draw anyway. Just watched some Serie A there's many better technical and cheaper players throughout the various European leagues who'd jump at the chance to play 'EPL' ... if you look in the right places as we've proven time and again over the last 7 or so years. Time to get scouting, we should had had proven quality targets in mind already but the only 1's we've heard about sound more in the Itay Schecter mould sadly!

Toyman, do you think the supporter's rep on the board should seriously take Laudrup to one side & tell him who to play? I think you're confusing the Swans with the Malaysian franchise up the road.

wot is wrong with ML in not playing Donnelly he ML brought in davies and the player has been outstanding so why not give Donelly a chance other clubs have done so in bring in youngsters does ML look at these players when they play or go on the recommendation of other people i give up with the man. i thought that we had a spokesman on the board so were are these people do they not see wot we see on match days if HJ does not pull his finger out it will be the champianship for us next season.

This is what happens when you aren't proactive in the market Huw. Players you want end up going elsewhere. Try to do more than just "ask to be kept informed" on the next one eh?
