SWANSEA City star Michu is being linked with a move to Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala.

The Russian transfer window shuts next Thursday - and there are reports that struggling Anzhi are lining up an offer for Swansea's Spanish international frontman.

But it would take a massive bid to persuade Swansea to part company with Michu, who was their leading scorer last season.

The 27-year-old has not played since mid-December after undergoing ankle surgery, but Swansea are optimistic that he could return to action next week.

Just disappointed in HJ. Who in their sound mind gets rid of the biggest assets you have? So we lost a few games, big deal. Let's see if Monk can get us to the UEFA final - only then will I agree it was a good move from HJ.

Unicty, nothing bad will happen to the Swans if Michu leaves. Michu is soon 28 and this summer is probably his last chance to earn a big contract and move to a team that plays Champion League football. But Huw is never going to sell a player against a player's will. I Michu leaves Swansea will find a quality replacement for a lot of £££ we'll get for him. It's going to be difficult only if we lose both Michu and Bony this summer.

who said "bring back the Laud?" We have the BEST chairman in the PL in HJ. Follow him & follow the Swans to SUCCESS

unicty, this article has nothing to do with HJ, its just a rumour about another club wanting a player. You seem angry at huw for firing Laudrup, as for michu, he's not been an overly effective player for a quite sometime now due to injury and lack of play time, we don't need him to stay up, but yes, we could do with him, if Michu goes, we'll get 10 times the money we paid for him, so we'll replace him of someone of near calibre, personally I hope Michu will stay.

Is HJ not aware what will happen to the Swans if Michu leaves? He wants to cash in, but he is not thinking long term. Who has the skills and knowledge to buy a replacement?

unicty, how the FK did you turn that around to attack huw jenkins? What's your real angle here?

Here we go again. HJ believes he's he has the club bests intentions, but all he sees is profit. What about the fans, what do they want? Michu is leaving because ML was the only one who could still teach him the art of footballing. What can Monk possibly add ........bring back ML

Silly story. Don't even think it's possible as the FA would probably refuse his international clearence outside the transfer window

Can't see that happening, their bottom of their league and have meagre points to date: They've sold a good selection of players as well. Billionaire owner who's looking to build a 40,000 seater stadium, on a nothing team. You stay where you're really wanted and treated with respect Michu boyo, you've earned every right to be called a "JACK" after your last years fabulous performance, that's a fact. Chill out for the rest of this season, by popping in a couple of goals whilst getting back to full status, then next season: Wallah smack the opposition were it hurts the most, you know it make's sense yea. C'mon u SwanssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssYeehaa
