Swansea City to be without senior stars in Europa League return

Nathan Dyer is set to miss Swansea City's trip to Petrolul Ploiesti

SWANSEA City will be without at least two probable starters when they fly out to Romania for their Europa League play-off second leg tie against Petrolul Ploiesti.

Winger Nathan Dyer will miss out again after picking up a hamstring injury in Swansea’s thumping win over the Romanians last week.

And left-back Neil Taylor is also expected to be absent as he continues to nurse a dead leg suffered in the first leg.

With Swansea in charge of the Petrolul tie, it could be that boss Michael Laudrup chooses to leave one or two more of his senior stars at home when his squad fly out to Eastern Europe on Wednesday morning.
