STORYTELLERS recounted legends, myths and tales at Kidwelly Castle to mark National Storytelling Week — despite the wet weather.
John Geraint Jones entertained visitors to the medieval setting with traditional folktales that have been handed down through generations.
Cadw's assistant director Lucy O'Donnell said the event was held to celebrate Welsh culture and heritage, but the cold weather put a dampener on the occasion for some.
Head custodian Sonia Brown said: "If we had the weather it would have been a lovely event but it ended up being quite quiet. A few families turned up but with the weather conditions blowing a gale everyone just wanted to keep on the move."
