Starsailor are to play a secret gig in aid of Crisis.

The indie rockers will perform the gig in London on June 2, but ticket-holders won't find out the venue until 24 hours before the event.

The performance is part of the Hidden Gig series organised by the homeless charity, with Hot Chip and Dodgy already lined up for other shows.

Frontman James Walsh said: "There are some great artists performing throughout the series and raising money for a very important campaign."

Crisis hopes the nights will highlight the situation facing hidden homeless people, who often don't know where they will end up each night.

"Homelessness is an overlooked issue and we need people to understand that it is more than just people sleeping rough," added James. "There are hundreds out there that need help getting back on their feet."

Last.fm will host the Starsailor gig with the band playing an exclusive acoustic set alongside newcomers Bombay Bicycle Club and Mercury Music nominees Portico Quartet.

Tickets are on sale from www.crisis.org.uk/hidden with all proceeds going to Crisis.
