Magnus Scheving is set to turn from superhero to villain for his latest movie role.
The Icelandic star - better known as Sportacus in children's TV show LazyTown - will play a baddie in big screen family outing Spy Next Door, opposite Jackie Chan.
And Magnus, who was in the UK to promote a new live stage show and LazyTown-themed children's fitness classes, said he relished the chance to play a new role.
"I've played the superhero and I wanted to play the villain - see how that worked," he said. "It was great and we had a fantastic time. But I enjoy playing Sportacus more, because it's closer to me."
Magnus admitted he was delighted when the producer approached him about the film.
"He wanted someone to play a comedy role against Jackie Chan, who is fantastic and a role model of mine - I used to watch him when I was a kid. And so for me to play with Jackie Chan is a dream come true."
He also said Jackie was impressed by the LazyTown stunts. "What's unique about LazyTown is that what you see is there, with all the stunts there are no wires, they are really done. So he knew about that, so he was very excited.
"I didn't do a lot of stunts in this movie, I did a few. They didn't use most of my skills - I was the villain basically hit by Jackie Chan! I did a lot of flying in the air."
