Speaking up for older people

AGE Cymru Swansea held its annual meeting at the city's Dragon Hotel with guest speakers.

The event featured talks from Older People's Commissioner Sarah Rochira and Chief Superintendent Mark Mathias.

Age Cymru chief executive officer Mary Pitson said: "The meeting highlights the work that we have achieved.

"A total of 14,000 older people have contacted us in the last 12 months for a variety of things such as advice and information.

"We have achieved £3.5 million for older people in additional income."

    It makes me ask if the Assembly is giving money to this body,as it is doing with the campaign to kick racism out of football.They are just as deservng, as there is no difference to me!
