SOUTH Wales Scorpions go in search of their first victory of the season when they travel to Oxford tomorrow.

They make the trip with their under-19s, who also take on Oxford.

The age-grade match starts at 12.30pm before the Kingstone Press Championship 1 game at 3pm.

Oxford will start as favourites having won three from six this season, with the Welshmen yet to record a win.

Scorpions coach Mike Grady said: "I'm really looking forward to this. Last week we were unlucky not to come away with anything, but that counts for nothing if we don't play with the same commitment and work ethic on Sunday.

"If we do then I don't think we'll be too far off come full time. There's no pressure on my lads. Like every other game, I'm asking them to build on the previous week's performance.

"Oxford are a good side and well coached by Tony Benson. I know about a few of their players from up north and on their day they are quality players. As I said I'm looking forward to the day and I hope we put in the performance we've been working towards."

Benson will check on Glen Osborn (hamstring), Valu Bentley (knee), Jordan Rice (hip) and Michael Crabtree (hamstring) before finalising his side.
