Gwent Police have arrested two schoolgirls on suspicion of conspiracy to committ murder at Cwmcarn High School in Caerphilly.

POLICE have arrested two schoolgirls on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.

It follows an incident at a school in Caerphilly.

The girls, aged 14 and 15, were arrested at Cwmcarn High School on Thursday following concerns about their behaviour, according to Gwent Police.

No-one was hurt and the matter was resolved peacefully, a spokesman said.

Inquiries are continuing and the pair have been released on bail pending further inquiries.
