SAND from the Sahara is being blamed for annoying drivers who’ve just had their cars washed in parts of the Swansea Bay area.
A thin layer of the stuff coated parts of the city today.
It travelled 2,000 miles to get here thanks to a wind from the south east.
A number of people have taken to Twitter today to moan about the dust, and it is the same in other parts of the country as well.
According to the Met Office the phenomenon requires just the right conditions to happen.
But there’s no need to worry - the dust isn’t harmful, just frustrating if you’ve just polished your motor.
This bloody sand from the Sahara or what not. Car is a mess. Don't like having a dirty car. Might wash it myself for once.

Are you a victim of 'Sahara Rain'? Get the soapy water on your car. If you try to QD you will be wiping the paint with sand
