Prince Charles invites local entrepreneur to Nato Summit reception

A local entrepreneur has received an invite from Prince Charles to attend a Nato Summit event showcasing the best Welsh business.

Managing director of Mrs Bucket Cleaning Services Rachael Flanagan will be one of a number of Welsh business people attending the event, on the first night of the Nato Summit next week.  

David Cameron, First Minister Carwyn Jones and Welsh Secretary Stephen Crabb will also be attending the event.

“It’s an absolute honour to have been invited by Prince Charles to this special reception. The NATO summit it is a fantastic opportunity to promote Wales to the world and I’m proud to be a part of it," Rachael said.

“In 2012 I was personally invited by the Prime Minister David Cameron to attend a function at 10 Downing Street, which was incredible and I think this event will be another of those amazing experiences. I’m really looking forward to it and can’t wait to meet Prince Charles.”

27-year-old Rachael set up her commercial and domestic cleaning company at 18, with around £20 to her name. Since then, the Swansea-based company has built up a 200-strong staff serving 250 clients across south Wales.
