Premier League transfer rumours and news: Swansea track Jones, Arsenal linked with Llorente

SWANSEA City are lining up a move for Stoke City striker Kenwyne Jones in the January transfer window.

The muscular Trinidad & Tobago international joined the Potters for a club-record fee of £8 million in 2010 and has scored three goals in his last five Premier League outings.

Sunderland

Sunderland have signed midfielder Alfred N'Diaye from Turkish club Bursaspor for an undisclosed fee.

The 22-year-old can play as a defensive midfielder or centre-back and joins Sunderland having signed for Turkish outfit Bursaspor from Ligue 1 side Nancy last year for around £3 million.

Chelsea

Paris St Germain have dismissed reports linking them with a move for Chelsea left-back Ashley Cole and Manchester United's Patrice Evra.

Cole's future at Stamford Bridge is uncertain and the England international has been linked with a switch to the French capital for some time, but the Parisien side insist they will not be making a move for the ex-Arsenal man.

"Are (Wesley) Sneijder and Cole options? No, neither is. The same goes for Patrice Evra," said PSG's sporting director Leonardo.

Everton

Groningen defender Virgil van Dijk, 21, has claimed Everton are interested in signing him.

"I know certain clubs are following me and that Everton are one of them," he said.

Arsenal

Athletic Bilbao striker Fernando Llorente is reportedly a transfer target for Arsenal after Barcelona ruled out the sale of David Villa in January.

Southampton

Serie A giants AC Milan are plotting a move for Southampton's Uruguayan forward Gaston Ramirez, who only joined the Saints at the start of this season.
