A PORT Talbot dance school is top of the class with its third act scooping three gold stars in a television competition.
Members of TDM Stage School are jumping for joy after girl group Notorious received high praise from judges on Sky dance show Got To Dance.
Thomas Carsley, 16, and young group Sugar Sweet have already appeared on the programme and have also received three gold stars from judges JLS singer Aston Merrygold, former Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt and Diversity’s Ashley Banjo.
Notorious appeared on Got To Dance, hosted by Davina McCall, on Tuesday night.
Choreographer Terry Michael, who runs TDM, said he was pleased they showed their full routine.
“The feedback from the judges was incredible,” he said.
“Kimberly said they were incredible and that they had a fantastic chemistry.
“She also said they could go far in the competition.
“Aston said they have had some serious crews in the competition but they were up there with them.”
Mr Michael said they were really excited for Notorious.
“It is our first all-girl group and they are really sending out a positive message to girls,” he said.
“This week has been such a crazy whirlwind with all three of our acts being shortlisted.”
Out of all the acts who receive three gold stars, only 30 are chosen to progress in the competition, who then will compete across five live shows.
A public vote will decide the 10 finalists
