Police believe this car was involved in a hit and run in Neath

POLICE are appealing for information following a hit and run in Neath.

A 10-year-old girl suffered cuts and bruises during the incident, which took place at 5.45pm on Tuesday, May 6, on Gnoll Park Road at the junction with Dyfed Road.

It is believed the car involved was a silver or grey coloured Audi A3.

The girl was taken to hospital to be checked over.

Police say the driver of the vehicle was seen to slow down, but failed to stop at the scene of the collision.

He continued to drive up Dyfed Road in the direction of the swimming pool.

The driver is described as being male, white with stubble or unshaven.
