POLICE are appealing for help in catching a man who exposed himself to a woman as she sat in her parked car on a busy road.

The motorist was in her vehicle on Dafen Road, Dafen, at lunchtime when the male approached her and carried out a lewd act.

Officers say they have a "clear description" of a man they want to talk to, and they are urging anyone who was in the area at the time to come forward.

Dyfed-Powys Police Sergeant Stuart Bell said the Dafen incident was an unusual offence for the Llanelli area, and he appealed to the public for help.

He said: "The victim has given a clear description of the man we would like to talk to in relation to this incident.

"This kind of incident is extremely rare in the Llanelli area, and if anyone can help us identify this man, please call the police."

The incident happened around 12.15pm on Friday, November 23, but the details have only just been released by police.

Officers have issued a description of a man they want to talk to in connection with the attack.

He is described as being in his 50s, around 5ft 7in and of a skinny build.

He has black, "scruffy" hair, and was unshaven and wearing glasses.

Police say he was wearing a dark, longer length leather jacket, and dark-coloured trousers, and his general appearance is described as "scruffy".

Officers are appealing for anyone who can help their investigation to come forward.
