PENLAN beat Kilvey Fords 2-0 in division one of the Pic-Up Spares Swansea Senior League.
Dale Hulland in the Penlan goal had to be at his best throughout to deny Kilvey with some superb saves, but overall the champions deserved their victory.
Luke Morgan produced a man-of-the match display and went closest to breaking the deadlock when he beat four defenders and forced Collins in the Kilvey goal into his best save of the match when he tipped a fierce drive around the post.
With Penlan looking the more likely to win the match, the deadlock was finally broken on 80 minutes when Damien Owen drove a left-foot drive into the top corner of the net.
Penlan were looking to double their advantage and duly did so in the last minute when Karl Mucha chested the ball down and smashed the ball into the net past Collins to seal victory against his former team-mates.
