PORT Talbot rugby players known for their annual cheeky panto are going a shade darker this year.

Members of Taibach RFC are getting their sparkly glad rags, wigs and make-up ready to perform 50 Shades of Peter Pan next month.

Panto director Aled Humphreys said they promised another "awesome show".

He said: "We have a cast and chorus of 25 people but there are as many as this behind the scenes doing music, stage management, scenery painting, costumes, make up and the all-important ticket selling.

"While we all absolutely love doing it, it is a huge commitment from both the lads and the club itself."

The show will run from Sunday, December 9 to Saturday, December 15, and includes a pensioners night, two ladies' nights, a groups night and a members night.

We go every year - highlight of the year never mind the festive season. The boys and girls work hard and deserve a lot more gratitude.
