THE UK's leading air pollution website has been given a makeover.

The APIS database is run by a group of environment and conservation agencies.

It allows people to evaluate the impact of air pollution on natural habitats. One of the new functions enables website visitors to look up multiple pollutants at the same time, at the same place.

Simon Bareham, of the Countryside Council for Wales, said: "It's really important that APIS is up- to-date."
