After months of rumours, it has been confirmed that Welsh rockers Manic Street Preachers will perform at Glastonbury Festival this year.
The four-piece rockband will be joining the likes of , Jack White, Pixies, Elbow, Dolly Parton and Massive Attack for the festival taking place over the weekend of June 27 to 29.
Kasabian, who had been widely tipped as headliners in recent weeks, will close the festival on the Sunday night, with Arcade Fire previously revealed to be topping the bill on the Friday
Many acts for the festival, organised by Michael Eavis and his daughter Emily, were named today on an online poster.
Tickets for this year's Glastonbury sold out in record time, after going on sale in October.
The 120,000 tickets sold out in 87 minutes, 13 minutes quicker than last year's record.
