LEROY Lita and Jazz Richards have both agreed loan moves to the Championship for the rest of the season.

Lita moves to Sheffield Wednesday, while Richards has joined Crystal Palace.

Striker Lita (right) has not featured under Michael Laudrup and spent a 10-game spell at Birmingham earlier in the campaign.

The 28-year-old scored three goals while at St Andrews, and is now set to return to the Championship where he will link up with former Cardiff manager Dave Jones.

Lita could make his debut for the struggling Owls, who are one place above the relegation zone, at Charlton today.

The former Reading man arrived for £1.75 million from Middlesbrough in August 2011 and scored two goals in 18 Swansea appearances last season.

But he now appears surplus to requirements with Michu, Danny Graham, Itay Shechter and Luke Moore all ahead of him in the pecking order.

Richards is yet to make a Premier League appearance this season, but is highly rated at Swansea.

He has featured three times in the Capital One Cup and played in the FA Cup loss at Arsenal 11 days ago.

Palace are without a game this weekend, but Richards will be available for Wednesday's Championship fixture at Huddersfield.

The Brynmelyn product has made 36 appearances for the Swans since turning pro in 2009.

He played 15 times in his first season as a pro, making his debut in a 3-0 home defeat to Middlesbrough.

He then featured eight times as the Swans clinched promotion to the Premier League, adding another eight appearances in the top flight before winning his first Wales cap against Mexico last May.

Richards had also won international honours at under-17, under-19 and under-21 level, captaining the latter.

Meanwhile, Daniel Alfei has extended his loan at Blue Square Premier outfit Wrexham until the end of the season.

The Welsh Under-21 defender, who also spent a spell on loan at the Racecourse last term, returned to North Wales side in October.

He was set to stay until February, but will now remain longer as the club chases promotion back to the Football League.
