KI Sung-Yueng has urged Swansea City to maintain momentum at Liverpool tomorrow as they head into one of the biggest weeks in their history.
Swansea go to Anfield with the pressure off after victory over Queens Park Rangers last time out took them to 37 points.
With their Premier League status all but secured for a third season, Michael Laudrup's men could be forgiven for letting their focus drift towards next weekend's Capital One Cup final.
But Ki believes the perfect way to prepare for Bradford City at Wembley would be to get a result on Merseyside.
Swansea have lost only one of their last nine league games — and Ki believes they will be boosted for Bradford if they extend the good run tomorrow.
"We cannot think about the final when there is Liverpool to play first," said the South Korean international star.
"The next game is always the most important one, especially when you are going to a ground like Anfield.
"We want a good result there because we have good memories there after the cup game and it would be nice to keep it that way, even though we know it will be very different in the league.
"And we want to keep the confidence and atmosphere very good in the squad before the final.
"The best way to do that is to perform well and hopefully get a result."
Laudrup's squad flew into Liverpool to prepare for their latest reunion with Brendan Rodgers yesterday.
While Rodgers's Reds have been busy this week, Swansea have been relaxing in Dubai. Laudrup hopes the warm-weather break in the Middle East will rejuvenate his squad as they prepare for what may be a huge period in the club's history.
"I had been many times to Dubai with South Korea in qualifying games against UAE," added Ki.
"It's good to go there. It's nice to have some good weather even though it's not that hot.
"It was the perfect environment for us to train and also to get some rest before two big games."
