Kenny Rogers set to play Cardiff's Motorpoint Arena

On Saturday, June 29, Kenny Rogers will be celebrating the start of his nine day UK tour by stopping off at Cardiff’s Motorpoint Arena. The show is set to kick off at 8.30pm.

Hailing from Houston, Texas, the 74-year-old country singer-songwriter has been part of the music industry for more than 50 years.

Rogers has released 32 studio albums and 80 singles, whilst having countless collaborations and number one hits.

The tour will feature some of his greatest tracks, whilst it celebrates his 50 years of being in the music business.

The Cardiff show will also showcase music from his most recent albums The Love of God and Amazing Grace.

Rogers has already travelled to Morocco and USA as part of his 2013 international tour, and plans on heading across Europe after he has graced the UK with his musical talents.

Famous for his duet performances with Lionel Richie, Sheena Easton and Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers is expected to create a stupendous night that fans will never forget. Expect musical hits ‘Islands in the Stream’, ‘We’ve Got Tonight’ and ‘The Gambler’.

The last train from Cardiff Central will depart at 11.08pm and is due to arrive in Swansea Train Station at 12.08am.

Cardiff Central and Cardiff Queen Street are the nearest train stations.

Parking is available at NCP multi-storey car parks around venue.
