HULL City look set to end any interest in Ashley Williams as they close in one the signature of Joleon Lescott.

Former Everton star Lescott is being tipped to sign a two-year deal at the KC Stadium having been freed by Manchester City this summer.

He has also been linked with the likes of Aston Villa and West Ham, but Hull boss Steve Bruce looks set to win the race for Lescott's signature.

And that is likely to see him pull out of any possible bid for Swansea City star Williams.
