CLINT Hill is loving life under new Queens Park Rangers boss Harry Redknapp after admitting: "I've been written off more times than a car in a crash."
Ex-Tranmere, Stoke and Crystal Palace defender Hill has been installed as the Hoops' new captain after Ryan Nelsen quit Loftus Road.
And Hill is loving the chance to play for Redknapp — even in a relegation battle.
"It's always a massive relief that managers want you — it gives you stability," said the 34-year-old.
"And no matter what position the club is in, you want to play.
"I've been written off more times than a car in a crash, but I've always said I want to stick around, and I can do my bit."
Rangers head to Swansea City on Saturday after last weekend's goalless draw with Norwich left them six points adrift of safety at the bottom of the Premier League.
They have doubts over new striker Loic Remy (groin), who missed the Norwich game.
