HARRIS Brothers, the tyre and fast fit centre based on Richardson Road, Swansea, has invested £100,000 in a make-over of the centre designed to extend the services it offers its customers.

The investment is part of a multi-million pound investment programme made by the Protyre chain of automotive centres, Harris Brothers' parent company.

The revamp means a new customer reception area and a canopy over the entrance to provide additional space for carrying out customer vehicle checks.

"This is a very big and important investment in our facilities," said Gareth Vrac, area manager.

"We have always prided ourselves on the quality of service to our customers and we listen carefully to their feedback and comments and as a consequence we are now able to further improve the range and quality of services we offer, to both existing and new customers.

"The refurbishment has allowed us to improve the facilities for our customers with a new reception area, improved access and we have also enhanced the facilities for our staff who continued to operate the centre normally throughout the refurbishment period."
