SWANSEA theatrical agent and stage school guru Mark Jermin is heading Down Under to support his best friend, actress Charlie Brooks, who has been confirmed as one of the celebrities going into the jungle for this year's popular ITV show, I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!

Mark, who has been friends with the actress since their teens, has been invited out as part of her family and friends to the hit TV show.

He said: "It's been a big secret but I am excited to go."

EastEnder actress Charlie who headed down to support Mark and the Stage School at their 20 year anniversary celebration earlier this year at Swansea's Grand Theatre is one of the celebs announced to enter the jungle.

Mark will fly out to Brisbane next week with Charlie's seven-year-old daughter.

He added: "I am a massive fan of the TV show and watch it every year. It is going to be great for audiences to see the real Charlie and not the character she plays in EastEnders.

"Charlie is my closest friend and we have spent Christmas, holidays and adventures together.

"This summer we backpacked through Europe together and next year are doing a sponsored trek across Jordon as part of Britain Versus Cancer which I am doing for Maggie's Cancer Caring Charity.

"We love each other's company and this will be a real adventure together."
