EVERTON boss Roberto Martinez has dismissed speculation that Graeme Jones could return to Swansea City.
Jones, Martinez's assistant at Everton and his former No. 2 at the Liberty, has been targeted by Swansea's owners on more than one occasion in the past.
And there have already been suggestions that he could be on the radar again following the sacking of Michael Laudrup.
But Martinez has laughed off the latest links, saying: "That story appears every time Swansea lose a manager — maybe it is stuck in the computer or something.
"But Graeme is in the middle of a very important project here at Everton and I don't think him going back to Swansea is a situation that could arise."
The likes of Glenn Hoddle, Dennis Bergkamp, Gianfranco Zola, Paul Clement and Marcelo Bielsa have also been linked with the Swansea job.
However, Swansea are thought to be keen to give new head coach Garry Monk a chance to prove himself.
