IT was a proud moment for Craig Buller as he made an appearance on the Wembley pitch.

Craig, of 1st Battalion Welsh Guards, had the honour of carrying the Capital One Cup trophy before kick of.

Before the big day the huge Swans fan told the Post: "I can't wait, I am not quite sure what exactly I will be doing but we will have a full rehearsal and I will be in full uniform."

Another fan Paul Matthews had travelled all the way over from his home in Sydney, Australia, for the match and was moved to see his beloved club pick up their first major trophy.

He said: "I had an absolute ball.

"It brought tears to my eyes, it is something I never thought I would see.

"The trip was worth every penny.

"It was a touch of class by the Swans to do a guard of honour for Bradford City too, I can't remember seeing anything like that before.

"It just goes to show the class of our team."
