SWANSEA shoppers were alarmed to see a First Cymru bus travelling down Swansea High Street with its warning signs on this afternoon.

The bus was reportedly sending alarms out saying ‘this bus is under attack, please call 999’.

However upon following up on the incident it turned out to be a false alarm.

A spokeswoman for First Cymru said: “The driver accidentally set off the warning signs and did not know how to turn them off. They contacted traffic control who helped them turn off the warning shortly down the road.

“This was human error and there was no drama. We apologise for any confusion caused.”
