A YOUNG employee of Swansea-based IT company SA1 Solutions has been awarded a prestigious creative accolade that recognises the brightest creative minds.
Liam Thomas, aged 22, a graphic designer at SA1, received the award from British education charity D&AD for his entry, called BBC Nomad, which is an online service designed to tailor news to the reader.
The entries were judged by a panel of world-renowned experts from companies including ASOS, BBC and Nokia.
Thomas recently completed a degree in graphic design from Swansea Metropolitan University.
He works within Picseli, the recently re-launched web development and graphic design arm of SA1 Solutions.
Simon Ahearne, pictured, managing director of SA1 Solutions, said: "We are incredibly proud of Liam and congratulate him on this brilliant achievement. We are committed to developing our service by attracting the best and brightest and Liam's award is evidence that we are succeeding."
