COLIN Jackson, the Olympic hurdling star from Cardiff, invested in a company that used a tax avoidance scheme, the BBC has reported.

Last week three members of Take That were told they might have to pay back millions of pounds in tax after a ruling by a tribunal.

Around 1,000 people put money into schemes which were purportedly to support the music industry, and Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen - along with manager Jonathan Wild - were among them.

Subsequently, Barlow has faced calls to hand back his OBE.
