Carragher has Anfield future

BRENDAN Rodgers believes Jamie Carragher will be given a role at Liverpool when he retires at the end of the season.

The ex-England defender, 35, has been linked with a punditry job at Sky Sports but former Swansea manager Rodgers expects him to remain with the club in some capacity.

"As a manager it's a real privilege to work with someone like that because he's very committed," said Rodgers. "Over time, I'm sure he'll have a role here at the football club."

    Yes, he deserved to be the next Liverpool manager. in fact, he may overtake Brendan's job should he (Brendan) flop again in the next season.
