Liverpool are said to be weighing up a £5 million summer move for Swansea City goalkeeper Michel Vorm.

The 30-year-old Dutch stopper is reportedly being watched by Brendan Rodgers as he looks to increase competition for current Liverpool number one Simon Mignolet.

The Holland international has impressed since moving to the Premier League in August 2011, and was a player that Rodgers signed when he took charge of the Swans.

The Merseyside outfit are looking to bring in extra defensive options as they have shipped 49 goals this season - significantly more than the other teams in the top four.

5 million? HAHA. Vorm hasn't had a great season, but he's been carrying an at the injury and recovering from an op, but there is no way Liverpool will be be getting him for even double that amount, saying that, if Vorm did go, I would have NO PROBLEM giving Tremmel the role on the full time basis without even looking elsewhere. If I was looking for a new keeper now it would be Marshall.
