SWANSEA writer Philip Bounds has launched his book British Communism And The Politics Of Literature, 1928- 1939 at the Oxfam Bookshop, Castle Street.

Store manager Phil Broadhurst said: "Philip sold out of the copies of his books, with all the money going to Oxfam."

The launch also coincided with the launch of Oxfam's Bookfest which collects books and donates to people in need all around the world.

Oxfam will be selling a large number of books that were donated by publishers at this year's Hay Festival.
