SWANSEA author Philip Bounds will be launching his new historical work at Oxfam's Castle Street bookstore next month.
Mr Bound will be on-hand to discuss British Communism and the Politics of Literature 1929-1939 at the special evening on Tuesday, July 3, beginning at 7pm.
Oxfam manager, Phil Broadhurst, said : "Two of our best selling areas are literature and history so we are delighted to be hosting this event, and particularly so because it sees another Swansea writer launching their book in the Oxfam Bookshop in Swansea.
"The shop will also be open on the night for sales and donations of books, music and film."
Mr Bound's previous work includes studies of George Orwell and Charles Dickens.
