YNYSTAWE Athletic came away from Morriston Town with a 3-0 win to cement second place in division two of the Swansea Senior League.

Penclawdd suffered a rare home defeat, Wern running out 5-3 winners thanks to goals from Chris Griffiths (3) and Callum Griffiths (2).

As a result, Penclawdd missed a great opportunity to keep up with the promotion chasers.

In division three, Kingsbridge Colts' promotion chase continued as they beat Hafod Rangers 2-1.

Steve Lorey put them in front in the first half where the tempo of the match was quick but with few chances.

Hafod equalised in the second half but were undone ten minutes from time when Owen Frost's free-kick deep inside his own half found Sean Cobley, who headed home from the edge of the penalty area.

Kingsbridge were indebted to Dave Rowe late on when he made a great save from point-blank range.

Kingsbridge : D. Rowe, J. Kean, R. James, O. Frost, M. Rees, J. Disbray, S. Cobley, S. Lorey, L. Michael, S. Hughes, D. Hughes, Subs: S. Dabbs, M. Corocoran, J. Hammett.

Treboeth United eased their relegation fears with a 1-0 win over Rockspur.

Team Swansea enjoyed a 3-1 win over relegation-threatened Waunarlwydd. Justin Morgan, Daniel Jose and Will Sparkes were on the scoresheet for the university side.
