A 21-YEAR-OLD has admitted burgling two homes in Swansea Marina.

Ryan Evans, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to two offences when he appeared at Swansea Magistrates' Court.

The first charge is that between October 22 and 23 he broke into an address at Cork House, Mannheim Quay, and stole a TV, rucksack, Xbox and money.

The second is that on October 23, he entered a house at Victoria Quay and took a laptop, three guitars and another flatscreen TV.

Prosecutor Andrew Smith said occupiers of both homes were asleep at the time of the burglaries and had only discovered their homes had been broken into by Evans when they woke up.

Magistrates declined jurisdiction in the case and sent Evans to be sentenced at Swansea Crown Court on Monday, February 18.
